Jamie Hyneman, one member of the Mythbusters duo, had this to say about the Apple iPhone and its “smart design”:

“The iPhone is a good example [of great UI design]. To combine several machines into a pocket-size device, Apple did away with almost all the buttons in favor of a touchscreen that can be reconfigured for each new application. Personally, I have no use for anything fancier than a basic cellphone, but the iPhone is smart technology. “ 

These guys (the Mythbusters) are smart guys.  This is one of my favorite shows. Their job is to prove what works and what does not. Clearly, they know.

Wow. Apple continues to lead the industry, while all other try and catch up. We can look forward to attempts at iPhone and MacBook Air copies for about the next 3 years. Of course, by then, Apple will have blown us all away again.

OK, if you are a male thespian, you are an actor. If you are a female thespian, you are an actress. Period. Female thespians ARE NOT actors, and don’t give me the “but the word ‘doctor’ is gender agnostic so why not actor?” spiel. Just stop. Do not even try to equate doctors with actors.
