Hi. I’m G.H. Mason. Glenn, if you know me. I’m a 30-something Graphic Designer/artist/web designer by trade. I’m a NJ native, born and raised, and damn proud of it. I’m a pretty easy going guy for the most part, but I do have a few gripes.

I’m sick of the fact that people have made properly learning the English language so low on the priority list that if a large enough group of people mispronounce or misspell a word, it goes in our dictionary that way. I just won’t have it.

I’m not even talking about those persons for whom English may be a second language.  I can forgive mispronunciations if you are technically still learning the language. I’ll be the first to admit, English is a damn hard language to master.  Much of it defies logic.  However, if  you claim English as your first language, please take the time to learn it properly.

It’s NOT inappropriate to correct someone who mispronounces or misspells something. It’s OK. Correct them. Educate them. Make the world a better place. (look it up W, it’s /NOO’ klee er/)

Don’t even get me started on driving.
