Moving

OK so we’re trying to move.  What an ordeal.  Our buyers are complete idiots.  Their lawyer - a complete schiester.  Full story when I’m not too annoyed to write it…

Ok.  If you are one of the people out there who drive a German or Swedish car that happens to have a rear fog light or two, for the love of Pete, PLEASE… you do not need to turn it on when it is not either dark, or foggy, or both. It’s not “cool” to flick on the rear fogs just to show that your car has them.  It looks stupid and confuses other drivers who are not savvy to the concept of safety in less that perfect driving conditions (which is like, everyone).

I used to drive an Audi.  It had a rear fog light.  I never thought it was cool to have it on, just for the sake of having it on.  I have a brain.  The rear fog light is something the Germans started for safety’s sake in foggy conditions where high-speed roads mean having a bright warning sign that a car is up ahead makes total sense. Most Americans don’t get it. Cruising to the supermarket in your E500 wagon at dusk does not necessitate the warning to those behind you. Unless, of course, that warning is “Pretentious Wannabe on Board”.

I’m recycling some old content from my previous blog. Some of those old posts were funny (if I do say so myself) so why not, right?

Artwork, Dope!

Man, this is so funny. Charlie Murphy does the voice and he’s hilarious. Check them all out at YouTube.

Sleep? What’s that?

So I’m constantly up late working on various web projects and I don’t get a lot of sleep. Why should tonight be any different. And since I’m up, why not write a little? Exactly.

Typical day: Up around 6:30, drop the wife off at the train station and off to work. Work (for someone else) from 8:15 or so to 5:30, 6 - ish. Come home. Pick up wife. Spend some time with her and eat dinner. Start the “fun” job. (I truly do enjoy design and website work). Work until I can’t keep my eyes open any more (which usually ends up being between 1 and 2 am).

Pass out.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Some day (soon I hope) it will pay off.

The (new) first post

OK so I created a new blog because each day I was confronted with more ineptitude and mediocrity than I could handle. So I will continue this new blog which will begin with a bunch of rants and complaints regarding those persons and entities who have failed to serve me to my satisfaction.

I’ll update the look and feel/theme when I get around to it. I’m far too busy for that right now. OK so I decided to forgo some sleep and put together a quick look.

Disclaimer: I rarely, if ever, make grammatical errors or spell something wrong. I just don’t. Surprise, I paid attention in school (and in life thus far) and I happen to excel at that most elementary of skills – spelling. If Akeelah can do it, so can I.* So be warned, I will correct you and I will come off as arrogant sometimes, but I do so for the benefit of the world. If more people were like me, less people would annoy me.

*However, I am not the best typist in the world and may occasionally have a typo in a post. Rest assured, this is not due to bad spelling, but inaccurate typing and quick proofing. I’ll be doing my best to keep those typos to a minimum.
